To get started, complete the Pre-Application Questionnaire as soon as possible to verify eligibility and evaluate alignment between your proposed project and the program’s overarching goals.

Eligible applicants who pass the Pre-Application Questionnaire are invited to register online (we strongly encourage you to register as soon as possible). Once registered, you will have access to the application. The deadline to submit your completed application and supporting materials is Thursday, April 25, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. U.S. Eastern Time.

Over several weeks, the Bellagio Residency Program team will review each submission to ensure it complies with eligibility requirements and Application Rules.

Applications that pass Administrative Review will be evaluated by a panel of experts using the Evaluation Rubric.

Based on the results of the expert review panel, a subset of applicants will be invited to interview with Rockefeller Foundation staff. All applicants will be notified of their application status at this stage in the process.

Following the interviews, Rockefeller Foundation staff will invite selected individuals to participate in a four-week residency.
